There is so much about this photo and this moment that I love. Aside from the silly breakfast conversation that Jeremy was having with Maribelle, and the adorable "yeah"s and "yep"s she would contribute at appropriate times, so many details of this scene suggest the older, more independent girl that she's quickly becoming. 

Halloween 2010

Halloween rocked my socks, and I'm pretty sure Belle would say the same. She kept her little gnome hat on for more than two hours straight (score!), dutifully filled her plastic pumpkin full of candy (for mommy and daddy, of course), and just generally looked ridiculously cute with two of her little toddler friends in tow. We split time trick-or-treating up and down our area's historic Main Street and also in my aunt's neighborhood. Belle came home with quite a stash, and I'm sad to say she hasn't had a piece since Halloween! However, Jeremy and I can't say the same. We've definitely been putting all that hard-earned candy to good use.
